WOMEN IN AVIATION

We’re delighted to confirm that, following the success of this year’s Women in Air Cargo Awards at the recent Aviation Connect event in Copenhagen, we will be expanding this initiative in 2026. Two exciting new awards will be launched, celebrating excellence and leadership across the aviation industry: the Women in Aviation Awards, and the Aviation CEO of the Year Awards.

Nominations are open to everyone, not just members of your own company. While we encourage organisations to discuss and agree internally on who they wish to put forward, anyone who believes a nominee has made a meaningful impact is welcome to submit a nomination.

In 2026, the Women in Air Cargo Awards will return to again recognise outstanding women driving leadership, progress and innovation in the air cargo sector. Alongside it, we are proud to introduce the Women in Aviation Awards. This covers the entire aviation industry and will celebrate the outstanding leaders, innovators, and rising stars shaping its future. Nominations will be open across a broad range of categories, recognising achievement from every sector, including airlines, airports, ground service providers, GSE specialists, and aviation technology and software developers.

How Winners Are Selected

All nominations for the 2026 awards will be reviewed through a three-stage evaluation process designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and recognition of genuine achievement across the aviation sector.

1. Editorial & Verification Stage

Our editorial and research team reviews all submitted nominations to confirm eligibility, verify background details, and validate supporting information. This ensures that each nominee’s achievements align with the defined award criteria and that only accurate and reliable data proceed to the next stage.

2. Industry Voting

Verified nominees are then presented to the professional community for voting. Industry stakeholders are invited to assess candidates based on leadership, innovation, and measurable

contribution to sector progress. The AI platform monitors vote authenticity and representation to maintain balanced, credible results across all categories.

3. AI Final Evaluation & Decision

Following the voting phase, all verified data and weighted voting results are processed through our advanced AI evaluation system. The platform applies data-driven analysis to determine the final winners, ensuring each decision reflects both factual achievement and genuine industry recognition. This structured approach combines expert validation, community insight, and AI data-driven analysis, ensuring that every award winner represents proven performance and peer respect.
