The Weekend Show with Chris Notter and Steven Dickson (part 34)

S1:E171 | 4th December 2020

Year-end drawing in fast.

Vaccines arriving and 2021 will hopefully be a New Year full of recovery and optimism.

Keeping the focus on the positive – Consumer confidence returning and positive indicators for Q3-4 2021

• Ethiopian – a collaboration with Cainiao smart logistics (Alibaba group) for vaccine transportation.
• Ethiopian – recognised in ‘Decade of Airline Excellence’ — well done Tewolde. Justly deserved!
• Ryan Air orders 75 more Boeing 737 max jets

Interesting discussion with Steven regarding High-Value business travellers being exempt from Quarantine.

We cover sustainability – Planet – People – Profit.
2021 – the potential year of consolidation and M&A activity.
A New Way – yet to be defined but businesses need to look to the speed of recovery and be prepared. Keep in touch with experienced employees.

Steven advises me of my pecking order for the vaccines and in the nicest way possible – also reminds me of my age!
