With over 25 years of experience in the airline industry, Michiel van der Eijk has held various leadership roles, primarily within the Engineering & Maintenance domain. He previously served on the Board of KLM Engineering & Maintenance and was Vice President of Air France-KLM Cargo Customer Service, where he led the innovation transformation for the Group’s Cargo division. Following this achievement, he became Managing Director of the Regional Jet Centre, the largest Embraer MRO facility in Europe. Since January 2023, Michiel has been at the helm of KLM Catering Services, a subsidiary of the KLM Group.
Michiel is passionate about transforming people-oriented organisations into innovative, efficient, and profitable enterprises. He holds an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from Rotterdam Erasmus University.
