Shelly talks to Chris about her early work performing free surgeries for the poor, and how research led her to work on the world’s biggest health problem, which Chris shared his ow experience with.
Shelly also talks about how technology is a great enabler of public health initiatives, for example through e-counselling on mobile phones or medicine delivery through drones.
Radhika talks to Chris about how her early career in paediatrics inspired her to start her non-profit organisation Every Infant Matters, which aims at ensuring ubiquitous access to healthcare for disadvantaged children.
She also reveals why parental education is such an important part of what her organisation does, and how aviation can help provide medical assistance in remote areas.
