A Valentines to Remember, Lesley Cripps – Sales Director for CargoFlash

This episode we are joined by Lesley Cripps – Sales Director for CargoFlash currently based in Gurogong, Delhi – India. Leslie has developed her career from Operations, into Sales and with specialist focus on Charters as well as now the IT platform support. Her journey has included companies such as Singapore Airways, Martinair, Chapman Freeborne, Saudi Cargo and Air Astana. A great example for anyone wishing to enter the industry (even in these troubled times) as many opportunities exist and the global reach of the business to those with an open mind and willingness to travel is endless. Ladies in Logistics – Leslie is one of many and hopefully more to come. Some mentors and coaches along the way were mentioned – Barry Gibson, Malcom Crow, Carol Norman & Peter Scholten.

    For cargolux , saudia , and another
    Airlines and she ends up in some
    Cowboy outfit called cargo flash
    Some were in India . I am Indian
    My self originally before Pakistan
    Was even thought about now
    British Pakistani .
    If you think about it if you don’t
    Have a senior management position
    In air India or PIA its just a totally
    Waste of her time .. why not go and
    Work again for another airline like
    Air India as she like India so so
    Much .
    Her experience and knowledge
    And intelligence is being
    Wasted !!!!!

THE HOST

Chris Notter started his career with H.M.Customs & Excise before moving into Freight Forwarding. He then entered the Airline side of the business, spending 29 years with German Carrier Lufthansa. Chris always references Lufthansa as being “the best possible training platform that anyone could have been given in their early career years.” Since leaving Lufthansa, Chris has held senior leading industry roles including -Head of Cargo with Etihad, both VP of Operations at the HUB and VP of Network with Qatar Airways. More recently and during some 5 years with Saudi Cargo, he has held the position of VP Network Operations as well as Chief Ground Handling Officer. Since early 2019, Chris has once again returned to Consultancy as well as hosting the EVA Podcast series.
